So my marriage is over....
What a lousy Holiday Season.
My wife and I are done. We got married Oct 2nd, 2004 and now its done, barely four years later. I won't get into details other then to say I guess we both have grown apart. She moved out 5 weeks ago and lives about 10 miles from me. I'm staying in our house for now, though its for sale. The Camaro will also be for sale shortly. Their is not much I can do except move on and turn the page.
Here we were 4 years ago....

I feel your pain. My ex and I were together for 17 years and married for 15 when we divorced. This is my first Christmas without my two girls and it kills me, but we are better off apart. I know its cliche but time will make it better. I know I'm better off without a woman who decided to cheat than to work out problems...What doesnt kill you will make you stronger...

I definitely feel your pain....
I'm going through the same thing....after being together 18 years, and my car's already for sale. In my case we have three kids in the picture, as well as a major cutback in hours for me at work, so I really don't have a lot of options as far as keeping hold of the toys... Ho-fuggin-Ho

Thanks for the kind words guys. I've actually been thinking about selling the Camaro for some time. I really want a C6 but can't afford to hold onto both. The housing market is rough right now, that will be the deciding factor. Ideally I'd like to have the house sold by March and move into a much smaller place, maybe a condo etc. Then I will have some more flexibility. As a 'single' 32 year-old I think I would enjoy living in a much smaller condo and having a real fun car a lot more than living in a bigger/nicer house and having a mediocre car.
As I'm going through this and I talk to people I have been very surprised about how many people are unhappy in their marriage yet don't readily admit it. Then when I mention my separation/divorce they start to go into how they wish they could do the same thing but can not because of kids or whatever. And yes I am very very glad we do not have kids!!
