Default window switch question

What is the difference between the normal window switch and the modified one for ls1's? Does the normal one work fine whats the deal there? thanks jamescb77

If mean a new MSD from a retailer,then it will not work on an LS1 unless you send it back to MSD and have it modified for the LS1 signal. Which, I believe is a 5 volt signal. Additionally, you will also be required to cut the two loops as in a 4 cylinder application. Other than that, they work great!

I just cut the loops and called it good. Many others have done the same and not had any problems.
