I am thinking about putting that cam (112 LSA) in my car. It's a bolt-on car daily driven but it does see time at the track. I would like to know what your setup is and how you like the cam. (please include your LSA)

I went with that cam in the 114 LSA. Since mine is a daily driver, I wanted something that idled a little better than the 112. If it weren't a DD, I would have done the 112 in a heartbeat.

My custon 228/230 112+2 lsa cam runs strong and pulls hard all the way till 6500 making max power at about 5800-6200 and holding that line...im tryin to get my dyno sheet up Id say the 228R with 112 would be a great setup or VRX4 cam (basically same as mine) my car is my daily driver and it runs strong with great street manners too! 6th gear 40 mph no problem cant wait to pair it up with a street warrior (if they come out) id say with ur current mods and one of the listed cam choices you could put down around 400 rwhp also the 112 lsa slighty moves the power up across the band

I had the TR224 on a 114 with all the bolt ons and put down 370 RWHP. The car ran really nice. About 2 years later, I changed to the 228R on a 114 and added AFR heads milled .020. Upper end was nice, but I seem to lose a little of the lower end. At that time my tune sucked. I added 3.90s and the car was much better. Then i bought HPT and started to learn to tune. Now it the car is much much better.
If I were to do it again, Id do the 230-236, 231-237, 233-239 instead of the TSP228R.
Its a nice cam, but I should have went a little bitter. the 228R is fine for a daily driver. You can tell its got a cam in it even with the 114.
You'll get a little more with the 230-236 and lose the same about with the
228R

I have the 228R, and made 397rwhp with boltons except underdrive pulley so I expect to be right at 400rwhp. I daily drive this car and have driven it across the country with this cam...HIGHLY RECOMMED IT! I spray 150 shot on it now...WOW PLan on 5.3l heads soon.
