I don't know if this is the best place for this thread but

I'm an M6 with 4.11 and I love to race really low like in the 15 mph because most other cars are death at that speed and I rev up fast as crazy.

The best thing is to test for yourself

It's going to depend on the power curve of your engine. The best speed with 3.73 is going to be the same as 2.73 or any other gear.

25 might be a little steep. My car loves 20 or so. I think with 25, it's not always guaranteed to drop into first (at least that's how it's always seemed with mine- she's picky)

How can you roll race without already having it in the desired gear? Autos suck for going out and racing with your friends on the weekends.

Racing from a dig out in the boonies on a street is a waste because you can't hook, so roll runs are the best way to race. Especially when the closest track is more than 1 hour away.

A4, 3.73 is what I have and just under 500 RWHP and 507 RWTQ. I like 50mph in second gear, it pulls the hardest from there.

just try starting at 10 then go wot, then 20, then 30+ till you find what you like best.
i like 50 rolls on the highway, top of 2nd gives me a nice hard punch (n/a) but on spray i like to be at the bottom of 3rd

but im a m6 with 3.90s

Not if you tune the shift points right.
Or use that thar stick thingy in the middle of da vehikle. (thats means manually shift the automatic transmission)
