I went with the Lunati Pro-Mods. They're good for well over 700 RWHP.
If you're going with a big shot later on (250+), I'd get the Pro-Billets. I believe your block will crack before those go.
I also went with Diamond Pistons (dished 9.1:1 CR).

Can the Eagles be purchased in 6.125" length or only 6.1"?
Since he has ordered the pistons already, I assume he is locked into the 6.125" lenght rod...
...so is he stuck with Manley's or Lunati's?

I chose some Carillos... 80 percent of the teams competing in NASCAR Winston Cup, SCCA Trans Am and Pep Boys IRL use them. They are a chromium / nickel / vanadium / molybdenum FORGED alloy. The fasteners are the weak spot in many connecting rods... seems many beleive the Carillos use the top rated system.

You can get them used for the 5-6 hundred range, some companies have shelves full of them from the race cars they need to sell. Just a thought. Search the net if your interested. I 'll post the link if i can find it again. I know, I know...why used carillo in place of new eagle. I dont have an answer..thats just a personal preferance thing.

Re: Which connecting rods for 6.0 build up?
I would recommend Lunati Pro-Mod to Pro-Billet depending on how big of a shot you want to run. As already said Lunati Pro-Mod will handle 700RWhp, and anything over that look to the billet. Eagle rods are a good quality rod but they are the first one to bend out of all the rods that I have seen in past experiences. The other recommendation is that although unfortunately you said that you already own the pistons, to get a set of JE pistons if you are going to run a large shot of n20, Diamonds are great pistons, don't get me wrong on that part, but just that JE is the better for n20.

The factory rods are 6.098" and most LS1 aftermarket rods are 6.1, 6.125 and 6.2"
Are the 6.1s considered to be stock length?, what about the 2 thousanths? Or do they just round it up?
