Drove my buddy's 03' z06 to an 11.55 @ 118.5 mph with exact same modifications minus the UD pulley. I plan to put a 3.73 or 3.90 gear in and shoot for 11.40's.

Nice job. There's definitely much more left in the car.

Yea the car is an absolute daily driver with no sacrafices so there is some left on the table. A 3.73 gear should net me essentially the exact same gearing in 1st gear as the z06 which I was able to cut a 1.75 with a soft launch, so I believe it would be capable of a high 1.6X if the nittos can handle it launching a little harder and I should be 11.4-11.5 ish.

I'd go 3.90 I know a few people who have those gears and it was night and day, 3.73 in a m6 is barely not enough.

As I would agree, and if I was still young and wanting everything out of the car I would skip the 3.90 and go straight for the 4.10, however, possibilities of a bottle on this car and limited self limiting my shifting at 6500rpms a 3.73 should put me at 133 mph at the very top of 4th, a 3.90 being 127mph.. I know I'd go over 127 with just a 125 shot, maybe even just a 100 shot, and the car doesn't see the track much.

Also, something else that has made up my mind is after driving my SS then driving the z06 at the track, and taking into account that the 3.73 will put me at 50.03mph at the top of 1st and the z06 I was driving with 305/35/18 nittos on it would be at 50.3 mph at the top of 1st at 6500 rpm.. having the exact same gearing as a car I am dead even with on a roll race and that cut 1.75 60ft on a soft launch is plenty of gear for me.

If you have all the supporting bolt ons and the driver is up for it.. easily done. I'll post back again when I have results with the gear swap.
