Well i was taking off my throttle body a few days ago and the while taking the coolant line that runs to it from the neck of the radiator off the nipple on the radiator broke off from the radiator and came along with the hose. I unfastened the fastener so it must have bonded together somehow. Anyways my question is how do i fix it? I was hoping someone here on Ls1tech had seen this before or knows how to fix it without having to change out the whole radiator. Thank you for any help.

maybe drain the radiator scuff it up real good and get some good 2 part epoxy in there that will hold the heat

Would epoxy hold the pressure? What would happen if some epoxy got in the coolant lines or radiator? I wouldn't want anything to plug up. Im just asking because i know the whole problems with the epoxy being used in the tb's? Thanks

Clean it, tap it, thread a brass fitting in there. I did that before too. Don't forget the silicone tape for the threads.

I picked up an epoxy made by versachem. It has two chemicals that you mix together and it bonds within 5 minutes. It says its good up to 1500 psi. and water proof. My question is will this hold the heat and pressure coming out of the radiator? How much psi would you say comes out if not? Thank you
