Default 96 lt1 help

Will my car throw a code if i cut the converters off and weld in a pipe, I have to pass emissions here. Thanks to anyone with info

yes it will unless you get o2 simulators or get the rear o2's tuned out from the pcm

Pull the cats...knock out all the junk from the inside. Add 3 bolt flanges to to the ends bolt them back in, leave the rear o2s in just tune them out. It will pass a visual and you may be able to tune it to pass emissions too. Or make a tube to bolt in place of the converters, and pop in the cats and stock tune before a test.

So i really cant do nothing until i get a tune, if i gut them like crookedbowtie is talking about will it throw codes ? Thanks Everyone
