Default swapping Ls1 heads for Ls2 heads

i have a 2001 ls1 and was looking into purchasing a set of 2007 Ls2 heads and possibly porting them for some gains. anyone tried this?? or can anyone give me there opinion of this idea?? Thanks!!

Send them to Llloyd Elliot, he does great port work. That's where im sending my 243s.

We offer the stock valve ls2/ls6 heads brand new fully cnc ported for right around 1000 bux currently!! If you end up buying the 243s your discussing then we can cnc port them with competition valve job, milling & reassembly for only $650!!!
