Default Become a virtual Texas Deputy, internet La Migra

Interesting site that was featured on the local news last Friday. Some overworked county sherriffs along the Texas and Mexico border have teamed up with an survailence camera company that broadcasts live on the net for anyone who's logged in to watch for them so they can cover more ground and catch more bad guys. I logged on to check it out but just saw some cows, turtles, and stuff. Saturday my wife asked me if I had seen anything while she was at work so I went back while we were having lunch and ended up catching some Coyotes (human smugglers) with a boat ferrying over a bunch of Mexicans and dropping them off in Texas as illegal aliens. We reported it when we saw them gathering up on the Mexican shore line and then someone at the Sherrifs dept. down there started tracking them with the camera. Last I saw the illegals were walking up a dirt road in Texas so I don't know if anything ever came out of it. It was pretty cool being able to actually see the reportable activitys. My wife thought it was unforgettably exciting, like she was in on a bust or something. On the news they said a guy in Hawaii (spelling)? reported some activitys that led to a humongus drug bust and some other good things to come out of the program. Many property owners along the border are asking for cameras so they can stop all the tresspassing and drug deals on thier land. It's a legal liability for them to allow people to keep traveling across their property, not to mention the litter and property destruction this brings them. Plus not all the Mexicans coming over the border illegally are good hardworking folks, criminals come over just the same.

Anyways if you want to check it out:
