New guy carb 5.3 swap Hey everyone, I own a 1985 monte carlo SS. Im looking into doing a carbed 5.3 conversion with a cam swap. Lots of info on this site im sure ill be doing lots of reading.

Thanks! The engine im looking at now is out of a 03 chevy 1500. I am hoping if I go through with the swap I could have somewhere around 375hp at the crank with the msd edebrock setup, a 750 holley, long tubes, and an ls1 hotcam.
