nice! I'm thinking on going for the sheetmetal dash and hardly anything on the inside. Beautiful job though!

Anyone else?

Mine looks like it did when it came from the factory. Just add a cage, pillar pod, and Harlan shift light. Full weight F T W

Here's some older pics, I moved my bottle brackets to the rear of the car and added a few things since these were taken. I should have the other seat in the next couple of weeks.

I'm gonna be adding to the cage this winter. I was just gonna add to it to make it a 10 pt. but after seeing the funnycar cage in 98camZ28's car I may just go wild with it LOL. I really like it and it would save me the headach of doing it later on so I might as well...

I replaced the dash pad that was all cracked since I took this picture so I dont have the dash cover on it anymore.

Dude, where did you get that upper console? I need one.

The plate for the double din deck was made by my buddy. He is a car audio installer. I watched him make it and took what I learned to cut up my M6 upper console piece and mold it up. All you need is the 2 part crazyglue stuff (it's a gel and then you spray an activator on it), some riggid plastic that you can cut easily (to build your frame), some bondo (to shape it), sand paper and paint.Oh, and about 8 hours of your life.:D

No way. I would have to charge $800 to make that worth my time. It's not my favorite kind of work. I play on computers for living.:D

Is that cage legal? I wouldn't think the bars that are bent to clear the dash would pass. A friend of mine asked me about that today, he don't want to cut holes in his dash.

my cage was just certed to 8.50 and this is an F-body kit from Chris Alston chassisworks, one of the best chassis companies in the bizz....

So long story short, yes it is completely legal. the dashboard offers ZERO in the way of structural support to the cage so it isn't required to go thru the dash to be legal. I was also told that this cage could be upgraded to 25.2 and could cert to 7.50 if need be.... of course i'd have to add bars to get there....

If this is the kind of cage you want Alston chassisworks is the only company I know of that has it.....

That's awesome. I would do the same thing. Super clean car, I wouldn't want to run into you out on the street with that thing.
