rekindled my love(99ss) Long story short,I owned this car for over 3 years,in those years I cared about speed not appereance,hence all the flaws,instead of fixing them,I bought performance parts.I learned the hard way.
after me n my gf purchased a 02 stripper z,the ss took the backseat.kinda forgot about it,left it at my dads house for about 4 months,just starting it ocasionally.the paint got all rough,had to put the clay bar to it(works wonders).dash cracked,shifter boot retainer broke.anyways after I used the claybar n after I waxed it I was amazed at the results.the pix were taken 3 days later.
so I rekindles my love with my ss,but it still has a long way to go
1.fix front bumper,hit by ups
2.left fender,cracked from to many shots at friends house trying to back up
3.right fender,scratched by mom backing up
4.1 stud on each side sripped from prostars dont know how that happened
5.dash cracked
6.shifter boot retainer cracked
7.hood slighly damaged,bought it liked that
8.needs lowering but it has slp longtubes

Don't feel bad man. My paint got screwed up & I completely gave up on my exterior appearance. I have only concentrated on drivetrain, suspansion & interior for the past 2yrs on mine. I figure since it's my daily driver the parts I"m working on are whats most important currently. A nice paint job will come later once everything else is up to par.
I'd rather look ruff & rip your doors off than look sexy/fast & be bone stock. But thats just my opinion.
