does anybody have these? do they hook well? how is the traction on wet pavement? i know they have more thread then the mt and less thread then nitto. so im guessing they are an inbetween tire that hooks inbetween both and have inbetween traction in weather conditions? does this seem true or no?

Yea, they are pretty much in between like you said. its still a drag radial though and shouldnt really be driven in the rain if you can help it

My bfg's hook well. Better than my nittos but my nittos did well in the rain the few times i had to drive in the rain. I wouldn't try to drive the bfg's in the rain

the bfg's have the same tread depth as the mickeys new. i have both. the mickeys hook way better but they bfg's are a little wider. they both are ok in the rain as long as u drive like they are on their. and i get about 3k-3500 miles a set on both.

I cut a 2.11 60 on a 100 shot on nittos which is rediculous so I picked up a set of bfg's and they are in my garage right now, they're about 1.5" wider than the nittos

I went trough 2 sets of BFGs They hooked good but that was about it. They suck for handling/hwy driving and are dangerous in the rain and wear out way to quick.
Im on my 4th set of nitto's and couldnt be happier for a street/strip tire.
If its gonna be 90% track car go with the MT et street drag radials

i had a pair of 16's. i drove on them rain and snow with no problems. they hood pretty good on my car with a 3200 stall and 100 shot.

I use to run BFG's, when the car was still pretty much a daily driver. Had 255/50-16's on stock saladshooters. Upgraded to 315/35-17's on TT2 17x11's. They were okay in the rain, but they hooked on the street aswell at the track.

I daily drove them on both my C5 and my 98 SS and I would expect you to get 3000-3500 miles out of them. They were a little sketchy driving in the rain too.

I've been using BFG DRs...pulling consistent low 1.5s but don't expect to get any mileage out of them

You can just sit still and wear them out LOL!. Like said above you only get a couple thousand miles out of them

I have pulled 1.68 sixty footers on a bald set of BFG's. I am due for a set myself but prob. be switching over to MT's or Hoosiers.

My tires are past the wear bars and have about 30 passes on them and about 3000 miles.

ive seent hem go to 7500 miles but i wouldnt expect more then the 3000-3500 90% of people get out of them.

I've got about 2500 miles and 12-15 passes on mine and they don't look much different than they did new.....probably still have 75% tread left.

I had mine since May 25, 2006 and never been to the tracks. I did some burnouts but that's about it. Don't really drive in the rain because these are meant for dry roads only!
