06 GTO vs 05/06 GTO (cannibalism)

06 GTO vs 05/06 GTO (cannibalism) Just recently purchased a 06 m6 GTO (23k miles and MINT!) and haven't had ONE damn race, until today....
Before I get into details, here's the mods for both cars:
My GTO - LT's, cats, Magnaflow X and catback, intake and WOT tune
His GTO - Black and wingless with LT's, no cats, unknown midpipe, some loud *** catback (probably the Spintech), intake and tune.
*Story*
So here I am, sitting at a red light behind some pile of **** in the far right lane, just MMOB. I glanced up to see a black car coming up in my rear view but wasn't paying too much attention. As soon as the car went by me (in the right hand turn lane) he rev'd that ****** to around 4-5k RPM's and immediately stuck his thumb up out the window. That got my attention, real quick. I hurried up and got behind him (he KNEW it was on!) and we both made a right on to a somewhat open street.
*Race 1*
I left it in 1st and as soon as I got up next to him, we both made eye contact and smiled. I started the honk and off we go! I ran out first, inching away and slam 2nd with a little chirp
I look over and he's at my door (I figure about 1/4 car maybe half). I was about to go for third but shut it down as we were running up on traffic QUICKLY.
*Story continues*
After our first little jaunt, the adrenaline is PUMPING!
My first race in my new ride and DAMN was it fun! He came up along side of me, immediately wanting to know what I had done. We exchanged the bulk of the mods quickly and he commented on how nice my ride sounded. I thanked him and then I asked if he'd like another?
*Race 2*
Just as fate would have it, we catch a light
I asked him "On green?" He just smiled and looked forward. Light goes green and off we go! We roll both rolled out and then mashed it! Through 1st gear, we're door and door. We both slam 2nd and I'm starting to inch on him. Hit 3rd quicker than ever before with a nice chirp and looked over to see him 3/4 a car back and then shut down. Would have liked to run 3rd out but we were coming up on traffic again... 
We exchange thumbs again and went our seperate ways.
Always nice to run into a fellow enthusiast, especially a cool dude like this guy

Very nice kill bro! Nothing better then being able to shift gears perfectly thru a street race after practicing on your own in a new car and hoping that you were getting it down! And to also be the winner against another car that had just as much of a chance to win as you! Great drivers race
