Hahah,

I remember hearing stories of a female Seaman "Guzzler" at Great Lakes.

Also have seen recruiting cards of a Major "Payne" for the Marines.

In 96 My troop commander to Turkey was Major Woody

I dated a girl in high school who's last name was seaman...she did in fact join the Navy. Her brother was a PVT in the Marines.

I had the idea of becoming an officer and changing my last name to Wood...

but going through the dfac I saw a LTC Wood. My plans dashed, I retreated to my breakfast.

We used to have a guy in my old shop was a SrA but his last name was Sargent. They'd ask his last name over the phone then they'd interrupt him and say "we don't want to know your rank"....:eyes:

So let's see....

Major Harry Woody

Private Parts

Seamen Guzzler

Captain Morgan

Captain Obvious

Now we need someone with either the last name of "Electric" or "Motors" get promoted to General....:D
