Default Comment on my LT1 Build!?

Hey guys. I'm just gathering parts to put everything together. I have the engine completed and waiting to go in.

What do you guys expect from this combination.

Eagle street/strip rotating assembly .020 over
comp cams 233/239 112+3 LSA .569/.577 lift w/ 1.6s
Pro mag 1.6s SA
Crane springs(dont remember part ## offhand)
Hardened pushrods
Cloyes Timing set
Heads milled .005 to true the plane
3 angle valve job and light porting w/ port matched intake

K&N Cold air/1LE elbow
Hooker LTs w/ 2.5" true duals dumped at axle
MSD Coil
Racetronix 42 lb injectors
Racetronix fuel setup w/ walbro 255lph
Going to go with one of Ions tunes until I can afford a dyno tune

I think thats about everything. I may have forgotton something.

Do you guys think I can avoid upgrading the fuel pump for now?
What about the stock throttle body? Will I be losing power with it?

Let me know what you think about it.
It will be through an A4 with a 3200+ stall and 3.23 10 bolt.

Agreed.

And while you're at it, think about ditching those 3.23s.

353 cubic inchs. I wanted to step up to 3.42 or 3.73 but currently i'm taking 18 credits and money isnt easy for me to come by. They are on the list, but wont be done til summer at the earliest.

Not a bad setup. Did u have the heads flowed, if so what did they flow. The 42 lb injectors are a slight overkill for a 350, unless u plan to hose it down with nitrous.

Yes. You will gain power with a bigger TB at this power level.

From what I've heard you can skip this for now.

I was planning on running E85 and spraying. That is what prompted the injectors and fuel pump. I just wanted to be prepared for later.

I was planning to have it tuned for the E85 when I go to the dyno.

The heads were not flowed. They were done by a reputable local shop. Just a mild port job. I wanted to get them flowed but at the time they had installed them before I had a chance to take them to a flow bench.

Well if they laid the shortside back some and did a good gasketmatch on in past the pushrod pinch then they should be around 240ish on the intake and 180ish on the exh. That combination with a good converter if its an a4 would probably put down around 360 RWHP and mabey 370 RWTQ.

should make mid 300's depending on extent of porting.

BTW I would toss those SA rockers for NSA's and some guideplates.

I would try and find a used set of 3.42's out of a m6 car. They go between 35-65 bucks. The install may be a few hundred but if you can do it yourself it will be real cheap.

You should also be able to find a 52mm tb for 150-200, which on a motor like yours should be 10-12 hp. Depending on how much headwork you have you may want to pick up a 58 instead.

With the n2o use i would also go 3inch td's with an x pipe. The extra flow will help out, or keep the 2.5 and run cutouts.
