Default Round 2 with a local mach 1

Raced the guy a while back and it was fender to fender from a dead stop and i pulled a little bit on the 30 roll. I raced the guy again tonite with my new tires so i launched alot harder and i pulled him about a car from a dead stop. And then the same amount from a 10mph roll.Ram them up to about 130 both times. He has a intake spacer,CAI,slp loud mouth, pro 5.0 with a short stick, and some work done with a diablo sport on a mustang dyno.it put down 303hp and i think 320lb/ft.I put down 256/325 on a dyno dynamics a while back and this race sure made me feel alot better about those dyno numbers.

Nice run man.

Sorry to have to do this....but I'm calling a MAJOR BS on 303RWHP on a StangJet with CAI, spacer, catback........even IF that is a dyno tune. Either he has more done, misunderstanding/lied about his numbers, or that dyno operator put a F'd up correction factor on his run/s.

Either way...good run/win.

I'd be willing to bet that was a DynoJet though. Stang Dyno's are roughly 10hp lower because they are a loaded dyno. NO WAY a mach is putting out ~315 with those mods SAE corrected.

Just for reference, my N/A Mach put down 297/320 with KandN CAI, intake spacer, catted X pipe (which the op didn't list), and catback with a dyno tune on a DJ SAE corrected.

And Jesus......nope, you just wish I was, you sick-O...and no need to mess up the OP's thread man.

I have to agree with pony...there's no way he's making that much with those mods on a mustang dyno. I have to also wonder why your numbers are that low..did you dyno on a mustang dyno? If you did thats what the mach's numbers should have been closer to.

Lets see Mach 1 dyno 303rwhp on a Mustang dyno... you dyno 256 on a dynojet and you managed to beat him!

How about you read my post again before you talk **** 94mustang302ci.I said 256 on a DYNO DYNAMICS.And my bad i just looked at the shops website again to double check and they run a dynojet not a stang dyno.and he does have a ORX,also forgot to mention that.

but still 256 is LT1 M6 numbers. **** some LT1 guys with a CAI and cat back have put down almost 280 with a 6 speed.

something isnt right on that dyno or your car.

Its the dyno.dyno dynamics read lower than dynojets.hell, from what i understand they read lower than stang dynos.there was a gto down here on the same dyno day and he put down 486 but he said on a dynojet he usually put down closer to 600.i am 99.9% sure its not my car.ive beat this mach 1,another mach 1 with the same mods minus the intake spacer,a stock 05 gt by about 4 cars.My buddies z28 with the same mods as me plus a ls6 intake pulled me by about a car and a half so im pretty sure it was a dyno issue.ill be taking it to bowling green sometime this spring to get track times

yea for sure man, sounds like it just must be that dyno cause its nearly impossible for all those cars to have something that wrong as well.

well congrats and nice ride man i really like the sleek beaks! [ ive got an LT1 sleek beak] white, the exact opposite of yours ha, but black looks smooth, go get some track times manie!

so is dyno dynamics supposed to be even more real world than a mustang dyno? cause from what ive heard the mustang dyno gives you a more real world application, like it would on the streets.

IIRC they are both loaded dyno's, but honestly IDK if it's more of a 'real' world thing. IMO, if you want 'real world'....have a look see at your TS.

Dyno's are tuning tools.

I wish everyone would just use dynojets so we'd all feel better about our numbers
