Wheels & Tires - want to know what sucks???

hitting a curb, over correcting out of the median after fuckin up 1 wheel, then letting off the gas while sideways on the pavemnt having the car rocket you around to the OTHER side of the curb of the exit ramp and it bites 2 more of the wheels, then BACK across the other, which pluchs the bead off the last good wheel and driving 300ft on 4 flats... all 2 weeks after buying a new set of wheels and tires for your LT1... what kind you ask?

and the other damage. we dont know what else is messed up but the alignment is a good 2" off... and it has like +45* toe and some extra camber lol

yeah we went to get some spare wheels and put them on so he could drive home, then i backed up and checked the alignment and was like ...OMG...WOW...DAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM lol i think he was crying a little when i took him to get the spares and is gonna kick my ass for posting this but will show him in the AM

I thought mine was bad! I destroyed my Chrome ZR1's on my pass side after just putting Goodyear eagle F1's when I lost them to a curb at bout 35mph. I now have Chrome Z06's. I also bent my upper control arm...2" or better off alignment....and a new spindle is also in order...sucks!

wow, that sucks man. Ever since I got the 19s for my car I have been so carefull around curbs. That alignment does look really bad. At least one front suspension part is bent or broke. That far out it should be pretty easy to find though.

damn maybe you can get some money out of them for scrap

Wow, sorry to see this. Reminds me of my accident almost a year ago in my CETA where I cracked a rim and bent the rear axle.

I feel your pain. I lost 2 new tires to a curb this past weekend. The wheels seem to be ok, but I wont know for sure until I get new tires on them.

I'll be the one to remind you it coulda been worse. The one time I lost it sideways I was doing 50+ mph, there were no curbs to stop or slow me down before meeting a tree. Trust me the tree will win in a fight against a camaro everytime. Car was totaled within 6 weeks of buying it :bang:

Damn those got fucked up. That sucks and of all wheels for this to happen too. Thats makes me :( to see those wheels like that.

I really didnt want to sell the rims but he wanted them real bad! and i wanted my old set up again (4's and 10's) i could have gotten a cheaper set up and kept the FM 5's or sell them and get what i really wanted lol,Little did i know they would end up like that.......so sad.At least he was ok though you can't put a price on that.
