Smile LSx Valve Train Data Compilation

I've gathered all of the valve train data I can find for the LSx engine platform into a single document. Currently, this includes valve springs, spring retainers, and valve locks along with as much of the common data I can find/measure for these components.

The following manufacturers are represented in this version:
  • Competition Cams
  • Crane Cams
  • Ferrea Racing Components
  • Crower Cams
  • Lunati Cams
  • Crow Cams
  • Isky Racing Cams
  • Manley Performance Products
  • PAC Racing
  • Performance Springs Inc. (PSI)
  • Patriot Performance
  • Precision Race Components (PRC)
  • Performance Springs
  • Trick Flow Specialties
  • General Motors

The file is a zipped (.zip) Microsoft Excel 2007 (.xlsx) file. Unzip and open with Microsoft Excel. The Microsoft Office compatibility pack is required to open this document with versions of Microsoft Excel prior to 2007.

Any and all feedback welcome. This is a bunch of data, so if anyone finds any errors please let me know.

Any chance somebody with Office '07 or Vista can convert or re-save the file in a standard .xls format?(not .xlsx file format)
My Office '03 with the "compatibility pack" can't seem to open it, even after checking for updates.

Thanks.

I converted and added to the first post. For some reason, Excel didn't like the comments I had in the .xlsx format document so they did not transfer into the .xls format document. That's the only difference between the two other than the .xlsx document looks prettier.

Just wanted to point out you have some wrong info on the PAC 1518 springs. Here is what I found on PAC's site.

Premium Nitrided Beehive LS1 Spring
OD: 1.290"
130 lbs @ 1.800"
337 lbs @ 1.150"
Lift: 0.650"

Thanks, the rate is the same regardless of where you measure the load. I took the information from their latest 2009 catalog: http://www.racingsprings.com/PDF/RS2009CAT.PDF
