Default Stock MAF size

Ok, I posted this on ls1.com as well, but no replies there, so I'll try here. I looked at the stickies on the top, but nothing on MAF sizes. Does anyone know what the stock size is on a '95? I know it's something mostly everybody knows... except me, so please help me out here!

3.5"
It looks like you have a 93, if so are you thinking of adding a MAF?? If you are stick with a stocker they are the best choice for most of us.

So what is 3.5" converted into millimeters? That's what they go by right??? I especially want to know if it is the same as the ls1's... But, yes, like you said I fully intend on sticking w/the stock maf, I hear they're nothing but trouble when they get changed out. I have a '95 MAF/computer setup, but yes, it's hooked up to a '93 engine if that makes sense.

25.4mm in an inch, by the math that is 88.xmm I would round down and call it 85mm.

What is with the LS lust. The critical thing is it is right for the tables in the pcm.

Some of the LS stuff does use the same MAF though.

Fair enough, I think that's what I need to know! The reason is that I have a '95 lt1 setup as you know, but it has the chassis parts, and ram air setup of a 98+, so I need to know if I buy an aftermarket lid for an ls1, that it will fit up to my stock maf... I don't feel like making a $100+ mistake, know what I mean?

^^Yea, I was going to say the same, I know the Z06 MAF is 85mm, and the Z06 MAF will fit around a stock LS1 Lid.

So... what you're saying is that I will need some kind of a sleeve to get it to go from the ls1 lid to my stock MAF, correct? Sometimes you have to dumb it down for me a little, lol.

The Stock MAF should fit inside any LS1 Lid.
