Default COMPLETED the Underhood cleanup, finally!!!!!

Winter is pretty long & boring in Chicago, and with Silver Ghost's kick *** deal on powder coating I tore into the engine for a little clean up.....

Once I get all the parts back I'll be sure to follow up in this thread....

sweet... you should take a hold of the hood latch and wire mod while your waiting on your parts to come in!

Nice, I have been doing the same. Waiting for my parts from Sean and the coolant lines and the ls6 pcv system.

cool like stated do the wire and hood latch mods, also what color are you going with.

Like others have said, do the !wiremod....

Your ports where the intake sits look clean. No carbon build up

Thanks guys......

The MAF is going to be orange, throttle body black, LS6 intake manifold orange.

Valve covers black, coil brackets orange.

Should look pretty sweet once it's all in one piece again...

I do need to ditch the fugly green battery in the spring....it goes with nothing under the hood

As far as what's going to be what color.....The MAF is going to be orange, throttle body black, LS6 intake manifold orange.

Valve covers black, coil brackets orange.

that's gonna look good for sure. you should do the wire mod and EVAP relocation too...and maybe get a PCM cover...if you can.

Sweet...looks identical to mine right now Silverghost also has my parts. Intake, GMPP valve covers, T/B, MAF and pulleys

nice thats kind of what i plan on doing with mine, only orange = pewter

Over the last month, I've been doing a few things.....I went with the LS6 valley cover, and had Sean over at Powder Pro work his magic on my stuff.....here's another little teaser on where I'm at due to Chicago's mini spring we just had!

what are you keeping over you valve covers to prevent dirt getting in there

ok so you jsut close the hood, you did not put rags over it or anything?
