Default What happened today Tech?

Ole Miss had TTU's name. Tech went from being a possible National Chapionship Contender to this. I know Ole Miss is a decent team, but this game should have been over, in TTU's favor, from the first whistle. Also, what's going to happen to Tech next year? No Crabtree = Top 25 BCS at most. JMO

Is it just me, or does Crabtree limp off the field after every third play?

Except, of course, when he caught the game winning touchdown against Texas.

Ha ha, especially if it's a messed up route or dropped ball by him.

I think Crabtree has had an ankle or foot injury all season.

My cousin covers college sports and said you can see the big difference between the SEC and Big12(everyone else included) in defensive speed. It's not NFL fast but not to far behind.

Yeah I don't know why I picked Tech. I mean Baylor almost beat Tech this season. I was 0-3 on bowl picks today

So, after looking at all the top 25 teams and their games on ESPN, I noticed that only 2 teams (USC and UGA) ranked higher than their opponents won. Every one else got upset, lol. Wtf

That was a very sad game indeed. We played awful! Crabtree has been nursing that ankle since the injury first occurred during the Baylor game. Nothing new there. I think that'll be the big reason he goes into the draft, because if he plays an other year on it at Tech, he could kill any chances of a pro pay check (it's getting worse every game!)!

My pick's have all been going the wrong way too.

Thats the problem with playing a rough conference like big 12 or SEC, by the end of the year your beat up and playing 3rd string players. Meanwhile Utah plays a cupcake schedule and goes undefeated (playing all their starters probably) and claiming for themselves the national title. WOW. That team would never survive the big 12 South, they'd get torn up for sure!

That was actually a game we both picked Utah to win, Bama played over their head all season and Saban plays games like the Ravens. Low scores and Utah can put points up fast and we didn't feel Bama could score at the same pace. Plus you know Bama felt they would roll Utah, their better than what people give them credit for.

Like Matt said, Crabtree was injured(right ankle) in the 2nd quarter of the Baylor game. It hurts just to watch the replay of that. He also twisted his left ankle against AtM. Don't think it would have mattered anyway. The Tech defense can only hold out for so long if the offense can't score.
UTEvo8 is right...Tech only wins at home. They'll never be able to compete with teams like OU and UT for CC because of that. Leach is a pretty good coach but he can't recruit the players necessary to be competitive every year. Mediocrity runs rampant in the Tech football program and has for years. Every year I keep thinking they'll be able to compete, but they always let me down!
