EGR and AIR really an issue for inspection???
I have to go in for my first state inspection since I've had the car and I'm just wondering how thorough the inspectors usually are. I'll be getting it done in Bell County if that makes any difference. Thanks.

You should be okay as long as you don't show more than one "not ready" on the system readiness tests. Technically you shouldn't pass visual, but I haven't seen an inspector who actually looked for EGR/AIR.

I bought the wrong Pacesetter headers, so I have blockoff plates made out of folded gold tin can tops (looks ridiculously ghetto lol), and my catless TD exhaust is dumped before the axle. No codes, I passed fine. This was at a pretty busy Jiffy Lube right by my house too.
