Default How much can my rod bearings hold?

Ok, bout a week ago i spun a bearing while sitting at a stop light. My mechanic said that it had probably been run hard (<thats me) before and finally just pooped out at the stop light. Just my luck..well time to build a Forged shortblock i say BUT... how do i know this wont happen again? I want to have a bullet proof bottom end but im gonna use the same bearings so wont they just spin again or do you think it could have been a mechanical failure and it (the bearing) just crapped out on me? Maybe JasonTA can step in here and suggest what i should run bottom end wise. This is my setup:

Forged Diamond Pistons & rings
Forged Lunati Pro-mod rods
yella terra's
ported ls6 oil pump
double roller timing chain

Plus my h/c and such. I dont plan on spraying it but i just might get greedy and do it. So....what else do you think i need?

Thanks and sorry for the long post
