Default Thoughts on near future setup...

How's this sound...

370ci iron 4.030" bore, stock stroke
Ported L92 heads (TSP, Livernois, etc - not sure yet) milled to 11.0 - 11.5:1 SCR - anywhere in there
235/243 LSL lobes 112 +4

Just some preliminary thinking here...ironing out the details.

Should I go 235/242 LSL/XER combo lobes with the L92's or do the LSL lobes work on both sides pretty well with these heads? What do you guys think??

TTT...

235/243 LSL/LSL
or
235/242 LSL/XER

Which would work better on L92 heads on a 370ci motor?

i would go with something smaller..somewhere around a 228/232 111, or maybe even 112lsa..ask somebody with a lot of experience with L92s to spec you a good cam to be sure..
and don't bother porting the heads..just use the LS3 hollow stem valves with a good V/J and blending it to the bowls..use thinner cometic gaskets/mill heads get to 11.5-1 CR.. spend the extra money on PAC or PSI springs..those heads will flow plenty of air as is to make good power on a 370..
