Default Biggest I can put on my 16" chromes?

http://www.tacreationsusa.com/camaro_wheels.htm

About halfway down. I have the chrome 5 spoke rims. I was told with 16x8 the fattest tires I could go were 255s. They are the stockers of course. I have 245/50/16 Eagle HPs right now. My dad being a old school muscle car fan wants me to get Comp TA's. He even said he'd help me upgrade to them. So would it be worth it on these stock rims?

Well I guess i cant. I just checked the tire sticky. Biggest I can put is 245. Now is it worth putting 245 comp ta on them if they even make them that small?

it's not recommended to go bigger than a 255 street tire on a stock 16x8

Should I even bother with comp ta's with that small of a tire?

He's talking about drag tires ... but for street tires, the biggest you can go on 16's is 255/60.

26 and 28 hes referring to the overall diameter of the tire the larger aspect ratios create these taller heights

Will I notice anything with 255s over 245s?
