great advice.... never go to maaco for a repaint man. they barely even prep... you could probably get it done for $1000 or less at Maaco... thats how bad it is.

I think I would leary of a paint shop that would do that job for $2K. My friends and family have used ALOT of different paint shops in DFW. Every single time, without fail, whenever you try and cut a corner on price it bites you. I am planning on having Collins Brothers in Arlington do a doors closed respray on my car (VFN hood, RK spolier as well). I think they quoted $2,800.00. But have had many great referrals on them.
