differance between 82-92 f-body and 98-02 rearend housing?

Default differance between 82-92 f-body and 98-02 rearend housing?

i can find fab9 housings for 3rg gen f-bodys for 599 so what would be different on my 2000? prolly a stupid ? but im just wondering.

3rd gen housings are 1.5" shorter on each side then the 4th gen housing, so basically you'd be getting a narrowed rear.

is that shiped price and including axels? if so hit me up because I am looking at 400 in fab work and still need axels to make mine work.
