thats a 1999-2000 pcm.

interchangable between 1999-2002 f-cars/vette/ genIII trucks

so it will work fine with a 01 camaro ls1? also is there anyway to tell if its 6 speed or auto?

the only way to tell is read the vin, or the 8 segment part numbers.

The pcm will work on both auto and manual cars, so it can be reflashed for your 2001 camaro.
