ok so here it goes., I have a 01 ss m6 my mods are the following..
9" rear end with 4"30's
lower control arms
crappy trans mounted torque arm adjustable.
no front sway bar.
eibach sportlines (bought with car)
as far as the engine goes it has a air lid, mad ends and a tune EVERYTHING else is stock.. heres where some people wont believe... I ran a 12.3 @ 113 with a 1.9 sixty foot and I think if I can get the car to 60 ft a 1.6 I will break into the elevens.. do you guys think I can do it with a strange drag shocks, coil overs in the front and stock rears? my plan for the car is full suspension and a little bit of weight removal.

cutout and a little bit of weight out of it and you will hit 11s....
you are running a sticky tire yes..

Get some tires that stick. MT. The strange shocks should do the trick but id spend the money on rears also My 2 cents

I think if you had our suspension set-up, a good set of drag radial tires, and possibly some DA AFCO's on the rear, you could get the sixty foot down even more than a 1.6. Just me guessin on that.. Give me a call at the shop if you're interested. Our number is 225-673-3533 We have all these parts in stock, ready to ship.

Thanks will do.. I work at a shop so when I put in the 9 inch I temporarily put in a random technology torque that we had laying around.. I dont like the idea of a trans mounted one.. the car was drivin on mt 315 drag radials and anything over 3500 it would spin.

Is your car wheel hopping? What psi in the tires? Also those sportlines could be hurting you but I'm not sure. I have a friend that went high 1.5s-low 1.6s on sportlines with stock suspension in m6. You def be in the 11s once get 60ft down.

MATTREDSS the car wheel hops a little bit if I try to launch over 3500 and I had the air psi at 14 which I think is to low for drag radials..
MAD STEVE I ordered the rear end with relocation brackets on already and I set the control arms in the second hole..

Set of good shocks, Drag bar, or at BARE minimum the largest stock style rear say from Spohn, and the correct springs match to the shock.

Try taking your LCA's down to the bottom hole. So long as they have an upward angle toward the front of the car, you'll be fine. This means that the front of the LCA is higher than the rear. Also, I'd bring the air pressure up atleast a couple lbs... I'd try going a lb or two at a time, just to be safe. I think bringing your LCA's down will eliminate wheel hop, and the air pressure in those radials will allow them to work as they should.
