Default got some hid's today

bought a plug and play 9006 kit locally with a 3 year warranty for $90. i had a silverstar ultra go out and those have a 1 year life span, says right on the box and this kit can last 3 times longer

anyways they are about two or three times brighter than the silverstars were

trying to decide between 6k or 10k. gonna go with the ten. have them in the stock housing and they are briiiiight

the scatter? hmm well its kind of like a regular light bulbs except 3x brighter. they are much more "focused" than a regular bulb, meaning i can definetly tell the headlight angles and where they are pointed; i had adjusted the headlights before and they were perfect with the silverstars but now with the hid's i can tell my drivers side headlight needs to be tightened to point more to the left

If I put HID's on my truck, people would ****. My head lights are already eye level with the average car that is in front of me at a stoplight. I can tell it bothers people. I get flashed all the time with my stockers.

Yea I get flashed also especially since I put the level kit on my truck. Mine are adjustable so I have brought them down some but not enough for an unmarked sheriff to pull up behind me yesterday morning and ask why I had my brights on the whole time I was following him. I only have the PIAA replacement bulbs but want more of a cleaner looking light.
