Default cam and rockers

my entire engine is stock except for the ignition system and headers and CAI. what would be the recommendation for a set of RRs and a cam to go with?

Not trying to be a look at the stickies dick, but at the top of the page there is a thread telling about a lot of off the shelf cams that are great for a stock headed engine.

Personally though, I'd go with the cc503 but A.I. has a new cam out that is becoming more popular and putting out great numbers.

that is pretty much what all of them are about but it all depends on what you are looking for, where you live (emissions laws), and how much you are willing to spend. When you are swapping cam and rockers, the cost of the cam and rockers are maybe 25 to 40 percent of what it costs to do the swap. Look at my sig to see what I am doing, it was the most cost effective way to get what I am looking for out of my car and still pass smog.

Call Lloyd Elliot as he has been doing this for almost 20 years and specializes in LT1 and LS motors. Here is his website, but call as he can make some custom reccs for your motor that will blow your mind. Ordering my cam this week from him.
