Transplanted early 406, t56 into 94 V6 car a while back using L98 ECM, would like to use factory speedo if I could, just need to know what wire controls it and could I just run wire from VSS to? I have a speedo output on my ecm also, and may be able to scale it to match proper ppm.. If not running wire right off vss would be other option.

See if you can get ahold of a Pin Diagram for the Connectors under the Dash on the Passengers side, it will be in the C220 or C230 Connector.

I will check that out - been searching for under dash wiring, can't seem to find.. Just knowing what connector it comes from helps...

I did find Factory pin B28 (drk green/white stripe) which does me no good being ECM is gone, but also found that goes to a 10 pin connector under passenger dash on pin G.. Initial hook-up did not work, but was running vss off of drill but car not running. And just found scan is broken so could not verify that ecm was getting signal or not..

Update: Got factory speedo and tach working, did a rough scale for speedo and looks pretty close on jackstands anyway.. Now need to figure out how to get Factory v6 tach to read 1/3 less with v8 signal. Any ideas?
