10 Second Club - 87 6.0 l Iroc

It started life as a 305 tpi,700r4, 3.42 10 bolt. It now has a carbed 6.0 L out of a 01 gmc 2500 hd, 700r4, 4.10 strange 12 bolt, custom headers, and spray. I bought the car, took it to the car wash, did a burn out it my drive way, pulled in the garage, took the hood off and started pulling the motor and trans. Its been 10.67 @125 1.51 60' Vid at the botom is of the first 10 sec pass it had went 2 11.0X's the previous runs. Its on a 100rwhp shot

That has been a lot of hard work! Way to go and congrats. I cannot get over how much better you car looks with the Prostars instead of the Draglites.

That was a good choice changing the wheels out.

Thanks guys. The only plans for the car is to make it more safe with a cage, then maybe up the spray and see what she will do.

I found a good deal on the draglites so thats the only reason I went with those at first.

Fucking sweet car. I would love to have somethin like that to beat on but no funds at the moment.

Only things out of the car Is the back seat, front sway bar, AC left with the old motor. CD player, power windows, heat, wipers and stuff are all still there. I drive this car to work on nice days, take it to cruise ins, hell even put the car seat in the back and drove my 18 month old daughter to a car show about 20 miles down the road. Trailered the car to the track (in-case of breakage) on a Friday night, ran a 10.85, trailered it home, on Sat morning pulled the car off the trailer washed it added air to the rear tires and drove it to a huge Cruise in/Car show 100 miles away and back with no problems. 10's on Friday night then a 200 mile round trip on sat. I was as happy as a pig in you know what.


Best 60' is 1.50 All runs and driving are done on 275/60 M&H drag radials

The MT were 275/50 the best 60' on those were 1.53-1.54

im so jealous! mine is 5.3 truck motor stock fuel injection with a cam and car ls2 intake. and 700r4 shift kit and beefed goodies. still working the kinks out... someday my friend, someday!
