you can do it as many times as you want as long as the tickets you got are in different towns/cities/counties...

For ex: Get a ticket in spring, sugarland and houston and take it for all 3 because they work off different databases, and to your luck, they dont share information such as that...

Have a super fine day

Elect to take it and they give you 3 months. Wait until it's been a year and take it again. Worked for me.

I always thought that you could only take it once a year. The court asked me for a copy of my driving record to prove that i hadn't taken it in the past 12 months.

try to "postpone" the ticket for a few months. I got a speeding ticket in early 08 and it just got taken care of last month.

Just take defensive driving... the other ticket will not be on your record since u took defensive driving to keep it off...

or if u r worried about it... just do deferred, it will be a little more money though, and you will have to take defensive driving if you are under 25... but you won't be breaking any laws, lol...

This is info passed to me from an insurance worker. To keep a ticket off your record... simply pay the ticket by mailing it to them.. Say your fine is 145 send them a money order for 150. Then they will have to mail you a check back for 5 dollars ... NEVER CASH THE CHECK take it tear it up and toss it in the trash. This ticket can not be filed until all balances are cleared (you cash the check). So this ticket does not go on your record. Have I tried it... no worth a try.... yes.

So maybe in a month or so you could post back... even if it only postpones the ticket a bit it will allow you to take DD.

I literally just finished my course within the last 3 minutes. I started around 3pm and, with a few breaks, I just finished the on-line course for $25. I had to pay $26 to get my record sent to the courthouse so $51 later, I'm done and now all I do is wait for the processing.

EDIT: I've taken defensive driving more than once in a 12 month period and never had any issues b/c they were in different counties. I've also been on probation on deferred tickets in three different counties at the same time. I'm definitely not bragging. I was dumb at 17. Still never had a ticket on my record. The ticket I received that caused me to take this latest DD was my first in 1 1/2 years.

sounds like me when i first got my car, never got any outrageous speeding tickets just got lucky and caught state troopers all the time, i dont even think they have a warning book lol , but i have 3 different tickets form 3 different cites, 2 which i did def. driving, and 90 days probation, the other one i set up a court day which lucky took awhile and went into the next year, so i was on what i like to call "double secert probation" lol

good luck the issue

Nobody has said the obvious....

I remember doing DD and on my driving record it said something to the effect of "this record will show the competion of a drivers safety course in the last 12 months." I dont know if it actually does...I have never had that problem
