installing headers

Default installing headers

gonna try and install my headers this sunday...hopefully everything will go good and i can get the car over to the exahust shop next week... anyone got any suggestions before i dive into this....

They are pretty easy and it takes longer to take the stock ex. off to putting the new headers on.

Take your time removing the exhaust manifold bolts. Give us a call when you get them in.

It's really not that bad. Me and two friends had my heads and Y-Pipe on in like 6 hours taking out time. Just make sure you jack up the car HIGH to make it easier.

Take off the trans crossmember and drop the rear of the trans it helps a bunch also allows you to move the trans sideways a bit to help make room. you are going to need min 30" under the car to get the right angle other wise your going to fight them. If you don't have any help leave two spark plugs (old ones you don't need) in and Just hang the headers on them until you can get up top and put a couple of bolts in

Some one beat me to it. I used spark plugs and coat hanger to hold them up. I used ARP bolts and lock-tite when installing mine too. Take your time and be prepared to bust a knuckle or two. lol

well not gonna happen this weekend gotta go back to GA to work tomorrow.......... i should just get a damn shop to do it.......
