C5 brakes on 1998 Trans Am
I have C5 Z06 brakes on my 1998 Trans Am and use 18x9.5 SSR GT3 with 275/35 18 tires. I bought some Blizzaks to put on the stock wheels, only to find out they don't fit over the brakes. Fortunately, I tried the wheel before having the tires mounted.
I want to get an inexpensive set of wheels that I can mount a set of winter tires on...they just need to clear the brakes.
Anyone know if the 17" WS6 wheels will clear C5 brakes? Or maybe the Corvette A-mold ZR-1 wheels? I don't need anything too fancy, but don't want it to look like crap either.
This is what I have mounted with the summer tires

im sure the smallest you can go is 17" and yes if the t/a wheels are 17" they will fit, reason i say that is because i have the oem z06 wheels and they are 17x9.5 in the front. so 17 has to fit.
