Default Anyone going to the Giants vs Eagles game Sunday?

Hey All,

It's been awhile since I've been on the Board so hello everyone.

The hubby & I (Eagles fans) got great seats for the Giants Eagles game Sunday. How are Giants fans? I've been to Eagles games and know how our fans are.

Well, growing up, I had gone to about a half dozen eagles vs. giants games at the meadowlands, and they were always quite lively.

If I were you, I'd just remember that it's the playoffs, and I would be careful with how loud you cheer, and how much eagles gear you choose to wear. No different than being a Giants fan at an eagles game.

if they're losing it wont matter cause Giants fans clam up when their team is getting beat up...unlike us, we get down right rude if we're losing.... if the Giants are up, prepare to be hazed.

Fair enough, it's been about 10 years since I was at a Giants/Eagles game in the meadowlands. I just remember vividly as a kid the brawls that broke out at almost every game I went to. Some things stick out when you're 10-15 years old.

I was planning on wearing my McNabb jersey and an Eagles hat. The 300 level at the Linc is where most of the rowdy fans are. I was at a game once where someone from the 300 level threw a giant toilet paper roll and almost killed someone. I will be in the 100 level 10 rows back behind the uprights at the Giants game. I hope it is more civilized.

its nothing compared to what it used to be like at the Vet. they were just down right nasty...especially around the famous 700 level.
i feel sorry for some of the guys that actually bring their kids and **** wearing Cowboy stuff...they show you no mercy. not so much for other teams though...they really dont bother you if you come in for a Falcons or 49ers game.

Philly fans like to throw things too when we're losing...wait a minute, we do that when we're winning too.

I have family making the trip up to the meadowlands...there's about 60 of them and they're all wearing green.

You'll probably get heckled and made fun of but no risk of any physical harm from anyone unlike the a-holes in philly and boston stadiums.

There is one thing that the Eagles and Giants fans have in common, hatred towards all things Cowboys.

I was at the COwboys game, Row 20. That was brutal. There was a row of Coyboys fan in front of us, with a kid included. The one guy was wearing a Whitton jersey. Needless to say, he left by the third quarter haha. I almost threw my beer at him because HE was mouthing us off. We didnt really do anything to him until he became a jerk.

Back on topic......I guess any visiting team will catch some flack when the home team is up. Its the nature of the beast.

Anyhow..... GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!
