Which are better manifolds for a rear mount?

Default Which are better manifolds for a rear mount?

im finishing my exhaust on my 2000 trans am and i was told that the 01 or 02 exhaust manifolds flow better then my 2000 for my rear mount setup is this true?

Yes but in reality any stock manifolds are worth keepig over aftermarket tubular exhaust whether its coated or not. Cast iron stock stuff works really well in keeping in heat. You will NOT see a noticeable enough gain with your STS system if you switch over to the 2001 2002 fbody manifolds. It wont be worth the time and money or the hassle of taking all that stuff apart and putting it back together again. Just a heads up good luck
