Question about 02 sensors (non F-body)
So my wife has an 03 Acura RSX, and it threw check engine light for the primary 02 sensor. The 02 sensor for this car is about $300 They also list a universal one for $25.00. Big difference in price. She won't be keeping this car much longer, so i was thinking of picking one of them up.
Has anyone had any luck with universal 02 sensors? this is one I have to cut and splice. also, it says to use their connectors instead of soldering them? Why is that? My soldering techniques are outstanding (i am a MECP 1st class certified installer) so I konw my way around soldering.
thanks for the help, there isn't too much technical talk/help over at the rsx board

What does the sensor look like, it may have a NTK wideband stock, I know my wife's 2005 accord has this, and that is why it is expensive.
The $25 universal vs $300 oem seems to be a huge price difference. I guess you could just try it and if it does not work, replace with the oem sensor. How many wires is it? 4 or 5
