run your 10 bolt till it breaks, then just get a 9" so it will handle whatever you throw at it next

on the dyno youll lose some power wit a 9" but youll gain in the 1/4 from that harder launch

I'm going to have to disagree with this... Sell your 10 bolt and get a couple hundred for it to help ease the cost of a 9"

Just look at my signature, only thing that changed was a new Moser 9 from Bob at EPP and a little better weather, same track, same driver etc.. When you are actually able to launch the car you will gain times. Also do a search on HP loss, I think it was GMHTP that did back to back dyno testing. Don't quote me but the results were something like this, 9in = 1% hp loss, 12 bolt = 1% hp loss and the Dana 60 was like 4% hp loss. My good friend installed an Dana 60 in his Camaro and lost 15hp which was almost exactly 4%. GL

I thought the 9" had the highest loss b/c of pinion to gear angle,
the 12 bolt a little less, then the 60 was the most effecient.

Yeah the 9" won't take anything away from your performance, I dropped .2 in the 1/4 and actually gained 2 mph after my 9". Whatever you do, don't touch the 10 bolt... that's just a waist.

Thanks for posting, a lot of people think they're going to slow their cars down when they swap out their 10 bolts. Bob
