Hi all, I'm in search of a junk LS block, preferably aluminum, to use for my mock-up. I'm setting up my G-body Monte Carlo for a 5.3 truck motor. It would be helpful to have an extra block just to ease the work a little. I don't care about displacement, or anything. Some junk heads would be helpful too, but not a necessity. Or, if anyone has a plastic mock-up block that would be best. I'd prefer someone close by, so I can pick it up. Willing to buy, borrow, or steal. I'm located in Peoria, IL. Look up P-Ayr Products replica long block engines. The Ls1 series polyurethane foam blocks run about 400 bucks. Could maybe find a used one or someone willing to let you borrow one.

I have a perfectly good LT1 block not LS, and two alluminum heads to go with it(one cracked by the water jacket). Im located in Chesterton IN which is about 40 minutes south of chicago. Its all yours for 300, and i would be willing to meet you half way if interested
