Default Full manual Trans go kit

WOW. This is PITA. Were putting it in right now. You have to modify everything.

But when it firms up all the shifts and makes it a lot more fun to drive on the street it will be worth it. And it saved me from having to tune right away with 4.10's and the stall.

If anyone is curious i can snap a few pics as to what all goes in this thing.

It says that mvb is for the 4l80e. Does it also work with the 4l60e?

How are you planning to retain torque converter lockup? I've read alot of answers to this question but none seem to be 100% sure.

Actually thats easy of you are allready and auto car. Simply leave the 1-2 and 2-3 along with the 3-2 and PWM solenoids unplugged. Then plug the harness in from the car and use a tuner to remove the test for all solenoid codes, Once this is done the PCM will turn lockup off and on just like you are a full auto when you are cruising around.,
It is a good idea though to set it up for above 45 mph in 4th gear only ,

That was the only thing making me not want a full manual kit. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Now what about line pressure. Is the computer still able to control that? Or do you need a vaccum kit?
Oh sorry for the hijack, keep us posted on how it turns out.

Kits fully in. I plan to wire up a switch so i can manually lock the converter. In the trans go kit theirs a vaccum kit. You have a T fitting that you put in the brake booster. I should have Some results before the end of the week. Maybe an in car vid for those considering the kit.

That kit comes with a vaccume modulator kit in it so you can used that or you actually can still use the PCS your choice.

Well its in. I got a little wheel time in the car. Its great. Better than i thought it was going to be. If you can make it thru the install i recommend it for anyone running around on the street. Im sure if the track is where you live you would want to computer to keep doing its thing. Im always going to live for the street tho and its works great their.

Well I really got some seat time with this now. This with the stall and gear i chose make the car a blast to drive. I Need to touch up a few things in the car But god its really fun. No more kickdowns or flat spots. Lots of fun.
