Default New 408 dyno numbers in!

First would like to thank Vengeance for an awesome combo!!! Car made 522/462 through my M6 and 3.90 gears. Combo is:

Iron 408
Eagle crank
Eagle rods
Diamond -15cc pistons
TFS 225 59cc heads
Cometic .040 gaskets
Custom 243/247 .623/.623 113+3 LSA cam
ARH 1 7/8 headers with cats and 3" xpipe
Melling 296 oil pump
Yella Terra Ultralight rockers
TFS 7.5 pushrods
FAST 92/92
Callaway Honker
25% UD Pulley
Comp OEM drop in lifters

The car runs like a raped ape and sounds pure nasty!!!

Wasn't too bad considering. I already had the 408 shortblock. So just bought the top end package from Vengeance along with some of the other goodies. They actually have a bunch of sales. Can't remember what I paid exactly though. Video and audio should be coming soon. I have to pull out my camera and charge her up.

Congrats!! What's your compression? Hp is stout, I would have expected a little more torque with those heads but dyno numbers don't mean squat lol. Have fun!!!

My motor was boosted before. Figured it would be easier to grab my compression from the top instead.

Compression is right at about 11.3:1 I believe. Honestly I was hoping for some more torque as well but after trying it on the streets I can boil the pilot sports pretty much in any gear

Please define big cam....this one shakes the ground around the car! Ron should call it the Chuck Norris cam

Ya man! I especially like the torque curve. That's why I didn't complain when the tq number was lower than what I expected. It's practically flat lined from the jump.

Yeah you're right very nice curves! Good torque down low around 3500 and power holds on past peak a good bit

Ya need to go back to the dyno and work out that dip as well. With that A/F and 29 degrees timing we didn't see any knock so I am thinking there is a lot more left in it.
