Default LS1 rear in LT1 questions

Are there any differences between a 3 channel rear end from an LS1 and a 3 channel LT1 rear end? Does anything special need to happen to run a 3 channel rear end from an LS1 car in an LT1 car? Thanks, Zach

Cool thanks. I thought so but I wanted to be sure before I buy this one I'm gonna look at tomorrow. I appreciate the quick help.

when i swapped mine i swapped the axles over from my lt1 rear end. i have heard on here that the axle lenghts are different but could not get that completely figured out so i swapped anyway. may as well crack the case and put new fluid in it and have the install checked.

but it bolts right up. i swapped in mid nov
