Default Do i need a tune?

i put an ls6 in my trans am and i was wondering if i need to tune it. It seems to be running a little rich,

would you profit from it... yes....

is it "hurting" you.. no not really...

wait till you get some more mods... no sense in spending all that money for a tune on just an ls6 intake..

it was not just the intake. it was the whole engine. and the car also has lt headers, lid cutout, circle d converter, and other usual boltons

sorry, i just automatically assumed intake.. my bad..


yes i would get a tune.. bolt on cars and especially cars with a converter need to get tuned... you will pick up probably 15rwhp or so also.. along with shift points and stuff..

mine idles right, but at the track it seems to shift early from 1-2 and hits the limiter form 2-3
