Default Day night sensor

Can some one tell me where the day/night sensor is located on our cars?

Thanks!

Thanks for the link.

Do you have to take the upper dash off, Are is there another way to get to it?

Sounds risky since these things are known to be brittle with age.

Yes they are, that's why I was asking to see if there was another way. Would hate to crack it.

If you pull the radio and look back towards the right side you can just barely see the wires running to it. Might be able to put a scotch lok on the wires if you want to permanently disable auto headlights. Catch is there are 4 wires, 2 for sensor 2 for LED and both have a green wire in their pair. The yellow and light green wires are the ones you want. The dark green and black are to the LED.
