Default Our new Kuntz & Co. Horsepower is here!!

It only took two months for our new engine to be complete at Kuntz & Co. and we can't wait for the racing season to start! We had a 427 with Trick Flow R heads on it than ran 5.30's @ 133 MPH but we have made a serious upgrade.

Jim set us up with a set of Glidden Victor heads and intake that were done for Charlie Booze. Charlie decided to use another head so we got these for a great deal. He also completely re-did our shortblock, added a motorplate, modified the oil pan, modified the vacume pump, modified the oiling system, added a belt drive, and got us a REAL nitrous cam (280/300 .903/.895 116 LSA).

This new 434 CI engine made 900hp @ 7700 RPM and is ready for a large dose of nitrous. We've got a new converter coming from Neal Chance and the manifold is already on its way to Speedtech to have the fogger installed.

Now we just need to get the car into the chassis shop to have the 25.2 done and we'll be ready to race!! We're going to try to run a 5.0 with 1 kit @ 3150 lbs this year!!

I can't see the pics, but it sounds nice. What class are you running with it?

Kuntz builds some nice motors for sure!

What is the tubing under the intake for? It looks like something glidden would have hidden under his intake.
