Replacement Monsoon rear side sail panel speakers?
What are some better replacement sail panel (rear passenger side speakers) for a 99 Trans Am with the Monsoon system? Are there any better aftermarket ones? I see stock replacement GM ones for about 90 dollars.

Kind of want to find some speakers but not sure whats best. I figured I could find some nicer ones cheaper than what the stock replacements cost.
I found these
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...DLVI%26ps%3D54
Kicker KS600 6" speakers.
But I am not for sure that they will work being they have a 2way setup with a tweeter in the center. From the look of the stock one I took out it has 2 sets of wired going to it and looks to be a dual voice coil. But not a 2way speaker.

Tried those kickers out they need to be 6.5 inch not 6.0 and they kind of suck DONT BUY! I am still looking for something to work I have tried some Infinity 60221 reference speakers and they fit but still dont have the good sound over the stock factory ones.
The stock factory ones are 6.5 inch One way speakers with what looks like a dual voice coil. Im having trouble finding some 6.5 speakers comparable to replace them with.

Me too. Love 'em. Kee Audio has great service too. And they are 6.5" subs so they go in easily. Definately look at this link before you install them. You will be glad you did!

Update: I ordered some of the bazooka speakers from keeaudio. I havent gotten them yet but im sure they will work from what I read.
BUT I found an alternative that is pretty cheap, sounds good & dosent add a bunch of weight to your car to have some extra bump. In all my searching for something to replace my rear sail panel speakers for the bass part of the music. I found this Infinity basslink
Infinity Basslink description
Its a 10" sub with a built in box, amp & crossover. All I had to do was run a positive wire to the back hatch. I tapped into my rear speakers for the inputs, used the body as the ground (where the spare tire goes there is a nice place to tap into by removing a bolt) And used the power antenna remote to turn it on & off.. This thing rocks for what it is. and being I like to go fast and hate weight im happy it doesnt weigh much at all.
anyways i am pretty happy with this setup and wanted to share.
You can find these on ebay pretty cheap as compared to crutchfield etc.
